How Do We Get Faith - Understanding Power of Attorney

THE ABCs of FAITH 21
HOW FAITH COMES

God loves you unconditionally and He desires greatly that you understand faith. We see faith as a command from God, but He knows what faith will do to make your life extraordinary. Consequently He longs for you to understand how to get faith so that you can live a winning lifestyle.

FAITH IS THE PARTNER OF KNOWLEDGE
We have said that faith accompanies knowledge. If you are going to be strong in faith you must get the knowledge of the Word. The Word of God alone is the source of faith. Romans 10: 17 tells us that faith comes by hearing the Word. Never fear that you will not have enough faith. Just go to the Word, hear it and faith will come.
Today let's get back to the 6 things we must understand if we are going to obtain positive, Bible faith.

THE WORD IS FAITH-FOOD
Remember, that you must feed upon the Word to get faith. The Word is food for the spirit of man like bread is food for the body. If you don't eat right you will get weak physically. The same is true spiritually. Many have a poor spiritual diet. That's why I do this teaching everyday. A spiritual snack on Sunday at Church is not enough to keep you spiritually healthy.

LACK OF KNOWLEDGE
Lack of faith is often due to a lack of knowledge or understanding of the Word. There are 6 areas of knowledge or understanding you must have to obtain positive, winning, Bible faith. Let's review the first three and then move into number four. Here we go:

#1 understanding the new birth.
#2 understanding our place in Christ.
#3 understanding of our righteousness.

#4. understanding of our right to the use of the Name of Jesus!

We have been given power of attorney to use the Name of Jesus.

WHAT IS A POWER OF ATTORNEY?
A power of attorney is a document in which you state that you give someone else the authority to make certain decisions and act on your behalf. The person to whom you give these powers is called an "agent" or "attorney-in-fact." You are called the "principal."
Executing a power of attorney does not mean that you can no longer make decisions; it just means that another person can act for you also.
We have been given the power of attorney to act in behalf of Jesus on the earth. When He returned to heaven He left us with the legal right to act in His behalf and left us the right to use His Name.

John 16:23-24 (New Living Translation)

23 At that time you won't need to ask me for anything. I tell you the truth, you will ask the Father directly, and he will grant your request because you use my name. 24 You haven't done this before. Ask, using my name, and you will receive, and you will have abundant joy.

In prayer, when we use His Name it is like Jesus praying. If I give you power of attorney, I authorize you to use my name. All authority in heaven and earth is in Jesus Name. (see The Wonderful Name of Jesus at our E.W. Kenyon bookstore at www.abinadabs.com ). Do you think the Father-God listens when you pray in Jesus Name? You better believe he does.
In every way that the Word indicates you have a right to use the Name. Have faith in the Name of Jesus today! In My Name...

So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.
Romans 10: 17

These lessons are written "daily" like as the fresh manna fell daily in Israel. No left-overs for God's people! What an honor to be able to share with God's people. PLEASE, excuse me if there is an occasional typo. The fresh nature of the newsletter does not allow time for me to have them proof-read. The time is short!
